Eleventh trip to the Beach 2012

 The sunset over the mountains and lake were quite beautiful!! I found many shinies as well as many shells and a gorgeous green rock.

Drive- in again!!

On Sunday, after my graduation party, Wyatt and I went to the drive- in to see Men in Black 3 and The Hunger Games. Despite what all of you may say, I really liked Men in Black 3 but I fell asleep roughly twenty minutes into The Hunger Games. Wyatt said that I would like the movie but I am not sure if I care that much about it. That is probably why I feel asleep. Perhaps someday I will care enough to watch the movie. Hope you all had a great weekend like I did!

Graduation!!!!

As you may know, I graduated from high school over the weekend. I got so many wonderful things for my graduation including a wonderful new car! My car is a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am. It has automatic windows, locks, and AIR CONDITIONING! Yeah you heard me, AIR CONDITIONING!!! I am part of the real world now! The key for the car was hidden in the back of a wonderful scrapbook my mom made me. I will post pictures of the car in a later blog posting. Not only did I get this wonderful car and scrapbook, I got my deceased step-mom's wedding ring. I have been waiting since 4th grade to get her ring. It means so much to me that I started to cry when my dad carried out the ring from his room. I think everyone in the room could feel that as well. I also got TONS of cards and money. Thank you all for your time and for your money. It means a lot to me.

The day after the graduation, my parents threw me a graduation party. Above is the table full of wonderful cupcakes, corn cake pops, and cookies that my mommy made.

 The table above is the table with the chips on it but they were all pushed on to other tables to that didn't actually stay there. Below is my congratulations sign.

 Below are the tables with black and red tablecloths on them. They kept blowing around because it was windy and I was starting to get the rage.

 Below is a picture of my table that I set up. This table held my corn lampshades, corn made of wall paper, my jewelry, my scrapbook my mom made me for graduation, my yearbook, the autograph from Mike from American Pickers, my sculpture, and my drawings.

Drive- In Weekend with my Man!!!

 Over the weekend, Wyatt and I went to the drive- in twice! The first time, which was Saturday night, we went to The Avengers and John Carter. Which I fell asleep during John Carter and Wyatt ended up carting me home in the back of the car, wrapped me up in a blanket, and sent me to bed. He is as sweet as can be. Above is a picture of the speaker than we used. Parking next to that baby was fun because Wyatt was struggling to get to the right position. Then when he did, we found out that the speaker didn't work so we had to do it again with the speaker on the other side. Below is another picture of the speaker closer up.

 

The screen was as close as it could be for us because we had to park next to the special colored poles.

 

Aren't we just adorable??!! I think so!

 On the second trip to the drive- in, we got smart and brought every available blanket and pillow because Wyatt's car is not very comfortable to lay on. Do you like out cute little bed? It felt like a mouse or something layering all of the blankets and pillows together.

 We forgot to bring snacks the second time around so we bought our yummy foods there. In the first trip we got a large drink, large popcorn, funnel cake fries, sno cone, and a hot dog. In the second trip, we got another drink, a churro, and cotton candy. Yup, we are fat kids!

Life Lately

Eighth, Ninth, and probably Tenth Day at Beach 2012

 To the right is a picture of the bananas on my counter after they have been there a while. The skin is browning and they aren't as firm as they were when they were yellow. However, the still have the "100% perfect" sticker on them. This just shows that you don't have to look the best to be perfect.

 To the left are the four crawdads that Wyatt and I found when we went to the lake on the 7th of May. We couldn't find the tank I had at my house so we ended up taking them back to the lake. It was really sad to see them go.

 To the right is the 'king crawdad'! He was a big, dead crawdad that was in the rocks in Lake Loveland. We decided he was picture worthy because of his humongous claws that were a pretty blue.

 To the left is a leaf that had been in the water for a long time so the current created this wonderful pattern on the left in sand.
