Fifth Day at the Beach 2012

As some of you may know, Wyatt and I have gone to the beach a lot the last few days. Yesterday was no exception. Since Wyatt didn't even come over until 8m, I got ready for the beach an hour or so before he picked me up. Below is me in my super cute swimsuit!!! Below that is Wyatt and me on the beach with the street lights from the other side of the lake behind us.

Fourth Day at the Beach 2012

Well we went to the lake again. However, I really wanted to go in the water but I didn't bring my swimsuit. So I went in my undies!!! Wyatt was in his shorts. It was so refreshing and wonderful!!! Everyday at the beach with Wyatt is magic. It makes me love him more and more every time.

Third Day at Lake Loveland 2012

Yesterday, Wyatt and I thought we would go to the other side of Lake Loveland and walk along the sidewalk and look at the water. We usually go to the beach because you would think there would be more things to adventure but that is not true; there are interesting things on the other side as well. In the picture above, you can see the wonderful colors that are in the rocks around the lake edge.
Not only are there gorgeous rocks but there are wonderful logs of driftwood laying upon the rocks. We ended up finding four small pieces and one large piece that we took home. I have some plans in store for these. Doesn't my man look super cute on the rocks??
 I sure think so!!
Above and below are pictures of me on the rocks. I am on my knees because I was absolutely terrified of the rock I was on. Wyatt actually had to help me get down there as well as back on to the sidewalk again.

Look at the adorable couple!!! We are on the bridge above the water where the water runs from the tubes into the lake.

Above is a picture of the art that is on one of the rocks by the lake. It is the Colorado flag.
Above is a picture of Styrofoam floating on the water. This pollution makes me hate America more and more.
My favorite find of the day would have to be this board that looks to be off of a deck or something. Wyatt moved the board from under the rock down by the water to higher up on the rocks. After we went to Titanic last night, we went to the lake and picked up the board. I am going to turn this into a wonderful wall piece. I will post pictures when I finish it.

New Jewelry!!

Today, I made an abstract ring, which is a HUGE accomplishment for me because I haven't done anything art related for a month or so. I am so proud of myself. Here is a picture of the ring which is made of copper wire, copper sheet formed in a dapping block, and a found piece of green glass.

Here is just an update of the past few days!

On Thursday, Wyatt came over and we went to Applebees for lunch. He paid!!! Then, he took me to Petsmart and we looked at the animals and he made the funniest sound that imitated the little birds perfectly. I would crack up and almost die every time. I really want us to get a pet and it can be our baby; we just aren't sure what type of animal yet. After Petsmart, my man walked me over to Target where we had a blast reminiscing about the past in the toy aisles. It was so much fun! After we bought Charles some little Easter clearance toys, Wyatt said he was taking me for a surprise. That surprise was Goodwill where we looked through the glasses and tried on almost every pair in the buckets. Finally we found a pair that Wyatt looks super hot in! Next trip was also a secret, Wyatt made me close my eyes and since I know Loveland so well, he drove in circles and winded around corners in hopes that it would confuse me. It didn't but it was the thought that counts. He was super sweet to me the entire day.
A couple days ago, Wyatt decided to pick me up at 4:45 in the morning and we went to Johnson's Corner before I had to go to school. I ordered the breakfast burrito and he ordered the biscuits and gravy. I was absolutely full for the entire morning and was pretty sure I was going to puke ALL OVER! After we were done at Johnson's Corner, we still had a lot of time to kill so we decided to roam about the Wal-Mart and watched part of Alice in Wonderland.

The next day, after I got done with work, Wyatt and I went out for Chinese food at Great Wall Buffet and then we went to The Vow at the theatre I work at. Before we went to the movie, we had some time to kill so Wyatt took me to the ARC Thrift Store and he bought me the cutest metal hippo box with enamel covering it. His name is Mr. Shiny and now he holds my shinnies (Mica pieces) from Lake Loveland. After Wyatt and I got out of The Vow, we were super lovey and decided that the best lesson to take from that is to not make babies on the road in cars while it is snowy out. If you have seen the movie, you will know what I am talking about. When we got home, I went in the other room to talk to my Mom and Ron and when I came downstairs, Wyatt had my pillow and the blanket already on the couch for me to relax. Not only that but he told me to go into the bathroom and that is where it said, "I love you" on the mirror. That was probably one of the cutest nights of my life.

Second Day at the Beach 2012

Today Wyatt and I decided to head down to Loveland Lake again just to look at the water and pick up my 'shinies'. On our way into the beach, we saw a goose sitting on a pile or sand by a tree. It was a great composition so I decided to take a picture. Well the goose did not see it that way and decided to follow us until we got really far away from it.
While we were walking around the beach picking up 'shinies' we found this gorgeous display of roots that are dried out and have no bark on them. They made a wonderful weaving pattern and so we decided to take pictures of them as well as us on them.
Here are pictures of my sexy man by the water and pretty roots!

Here are the pictures of me by the roots.
On our journey back to the other side of the beach, we found this stump of a tree that was dried out and had wonderful holes in it. It was so smooth and would make the most wonderful table!

GWAR at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins!!!!

Last night was Gwar at the Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins. I tried and tried to get people to come with me for a month but no one would. Finally, when it was almost 9 pm, I decided I wasn't going to let anyone hold me back and I was going to go by myself! I found some people that I knew and stood with them and rocked out to Gwar. Here is the stage for Gwar before their set started. It is a bit hard to see but the stage is set up like a castle with named women carved out of foam on the top.

After I took that first picture, I moved to the other side of the stage which is where I stayed for the rest of the night. There was blood flying everywhere and I was above the mosh pit so I was safe. I got super bloody though!!! If you are unfamiliar with Gwar, they are this shock rock band that mutilates people on stage and fights off bad guys. They wear awesome costumes and act like monsters. It is amazing! As some of you may also know, they recently had a member die, Flattus Maximus, so the picture below to the right is the memorial that they had for him.

Below is a picture of me after the concert when my shirt was soaked with blood and sweat. To the right is a picture of me in the light with all of my blood. It is hard to see but my whole face, arms, head, and hair are completely covered in blood.
Here is a close up picture of the blood.
Here is a picture of my hair down and you can see how it goes from dark and bloody to blond.
To get a clearer view of just how much blood I was caked in, below is a picture of my arm with blood and without any blood which is where my shirt covered it.
I forgot to add that the person that they were mutilating on stage was Snookie from the Jersey Shore and she is pregnant so they ripped the two- headed baby out of her and killed her. Overall a great night. I just wish my man wasn't so mad that I went.

First Day at the Beach of Summer 2012

Wyatt and I are looking for things to do that are cheap or free. One of the ideas we decided to go along with was going to Lake Loveland. We wore our swimsuit and tried to go into the water but the water was so cold that we could only wade in as far as our knees. One of my favorite things about the lake is the rocks you can find on the beach as well as in the water. My favorite finds are these thin rocks that are built up from layers and layers of stone. They are thin and silver and shine in the sun! My super sweet boyfriend wrote, "I love u" in the sand with a stick which was adorable. Check out the pictures and shoot me a comment and let me know if you have any ideas of what to do with my shiny stones.

After a day at the beach, we wanted to make something healthy to eat. I personally love chips and salsa but chips are terrible for you. We attempted to make carrot chips....They aren't very good..
